tylenol pm ok?

I have heard conflicting comments. has anyone heard if tylenol pm is okay during pgcy?

I'm not sure but I do know that tylenol is the only thing on the list of things to take during pregnancy for headache related stuff.  But my OB told me to try not to take ANYTHING until after 12 weeks if you can help it.

For me, this would fall under the category of "If you're desperate." I'm trying to stay away from all meds in the 1st tri, but a tired, in-pain mommy is no good either.

I took it occasionally during my 3rd Trimester of my first pregnancy & was ok. However, I try not to take anything during my 1st Trimester if I can help it.

Why not just take Unisom? If its OK for morning sickness, then its OK to take it for its intended purpose.

I agree with this.  I personally wouldn't take Tylenol PM, but if you're considering it, I would call your OB and ask them.

It is on the safe list from my OB's website.

It's on my "ok" list from my OB.  But he also said to avoid taking anything in the 1st trimester unless I had to!
