photographer recs

Hi

I'd like to hire a photographer for spring photos.I think there are several that people often recommend here but I can't find those posts. I'd like to max out in the 400-500 range (including dvd of images)-is that reasonable?

If we find someone we love, I'd like to do biannual photos for the next few years, each October for her birthday and each spring (wildflowers/bluebonnets)

    I think Tyler Schmitt is in that range with a disc included.. If I'm remembering correctly? We LOVE him. Love him. He shot our engagements, wedding, and has done family shots for us as well. He has never disappointed. :)

    its definitely reasonable!  in that range i'd go with a mini from a more $ photog or pick someone with an all inclusive on the cheaper end.

    i agree with the recommendation for tyler/mill.  you might also look at lisa woods (more hazy/vintage/processed effects on all images) or neely brook (more traditional with bright colors).

    I'm not sure about prices, but my fave photogs (in no particular order) are:

    Lyndsay Stradner with Life in Motion Photography

    Michele Anderson, Pinkletoes Photography

    Elyse Kana, Constance Elyse Photography (though I would check as to whether she is shooting families right now.  She's done lots of family stuff for me, but she mentioned she may try to focus on weddings - but I'd check with her)

    Libby with Libbyann Photography

    Lisa Woods, as mollie mentioned (lisa has also done a ton of photos for me and I've worked with her for several years now)

    And she would never mention herself, but Mollie (above) is Bloom Photography and she's great too!

    Can't go wrong with any of these ladies.
