If you have GD, come in...another question.

What are your favorite things to eat for meals and snacks that you get good results with?  Just looking for some different ideas.

Thanks in advance.

  • Right now I am hooked on peanut butter sandwiches for lunch. I use the whole grain white bread from Wonder. I am also a fan of Mozzarella string cheese snacks, and sugar free chocolate pudding (Jell-o). As for dinner I always get good numbers when I make cheeseburgers and I love using the bags with seasoning from McCormick when i make chicken!!

  • I have been having fruit with yogurt and Cottage cheese, yummy! also another one I found that was great was pineapple and strawberry cream cheese!
  • Sugar free pudding, cottage cheese, celery with PB on it, and I eat a lot of nuts/trail mix stuff.

  • My favorites are Chobani yogurt, apple slices with peanut butter, mixed nuts with dried fruit, and for a bedtime snack I have a Dole fruit crisp cup - heat it up for 30 seconds, put the granola on it with a small scoop of low fat vanilla ice cream. YUM! :)

  • I agree with the chobani yogurt, but much much much prefer the 2% kind over the 0 fat, what a difference in taste!

sometimes for breakfast i make a little shake with some chobani, milk and no sugar added carnation breakfast.  I throw it all in the magic bullet and its delicious and quick - perfect for when i start getting sick of eggs!

for snacks I eat those cheese sticks with 100 cal packs of cheez its or crackers.

Or I have nuts with 1/2 svg raisins or bluberries and 1/2 serving cheerios.

sometimes for bedtime snack  I have a no sugar added fudge pop with PB smeared on it, kind of close to my beloved yet forbidden PB cups!
