What is one item that you didn't think you needed before you had kids or while you were pregnant that you now have discovered that you couldn't live without?

Mine, I finally realized that a swing would have helped me out a lot over the last few months and can still help me for a while for naps so today we finally bought one.

What's yours?

ETA: With the swing DD actually got down for her naps today without us spending hours on it.

Besides tequila? Probably the bouncer. We still use it everyday and was a life saver when he was first home.

HAHA Wine for me! No really my Fisher Price Zen Swing. When he is not swinging, it has a detachable seat that I can carry into bathroom or kitchen. Total life saver!

Hands down the swing! I kept saying that we wouldn't need one and that we didn't really have room for one, but when she was 4 days old and nothing that we had here was working, we went out and bought one. We have found plenty of room for that swing and it was the best baby item we bought, Juliana loves her swing.

We had a swing and live in a really small house. We didn't get DD a bouncy seat. I just got one for the little boy (11 weeks) that I'm babysitting. She took it over! My next baby will have one!! And, it will specifically be this design so that it can bear the weight of an older baby :-)

ETA: The little fella totally loves it even without the batteries in it and Ophelia doesn't try to climb into it while he's in it!

I didn't think I'd probably use the boppy all that much. I use that stinkin thing every single time she eats and if I'm holding her for a nap. LOVE it.

I also bought the seahorse for her for christmas- I was a total skeptic. I am now a total believer, she absolutely adores that thing!

This, sort of. I thought it looked cool, but tried it twice when she was smaller and had little interest in the holds for her age. I've used it twice in the past few days with Amelia facing out and she's been awesome! I think we'll get lots of use out of it

That was me too but H went out and bought one 3 weeks before she was born, me saying the whole time "I'll never use it". I was definitely eating crow once she came home.
