pet names (kinda NBR)

Tell me if I'm being weird or not about this...

DH and I call each other "honey".  But now that DD is here, he's been calling her "honey", among other things (sweetheart, giblet, toots, etc.).  In fact, I think he defaults to "honey" for her more than any other pet name.  I'm finding it a little weird that he calls us the same thing.  And if he wants to call her "honey" and me something else, then I'm fine with that.  Would any of you guys feel weird about DH calling you and LO the same thing?  Or am I being silly?

    I call DH all sorts of things and have found that a couple of them have carried over to DD (sweetheart mostly). I don't find it weird because DH has his exclusive pet names (my lovey, babycakes, etc) and DD has her nicknames (Sofe, Snarf, etc).
    Dee, Mommy to: Sofia, born 2/9/11, as well as three dogs, two cats and a multitude of chinchillas. Lilypie First Birthday tickers

    I have to say I got pretty jealous when my 1st DD came around, she stole my nickname! From the time we got serious with dating, DH always called me Baby Girl- his baby girl. Then when we had a baby girl, it went to her... and I was insanely jealous! He just didn't feel right calling me that anymore when we had a real baby girl though. I understood, but it sucked! Even to this day (she'll be 3 soon), everyone who knows her nickname knows her as baby girl. Her brother calls her his baby girl. LOL!

    DH just calls me Tiff or Hey now. Sometimes he mixes it up and calls me Hey Tiff.
