I have been trying to work out but still have a muffin top and Freddy Kruger like stretch marks. The thought of being in a bikini in 3 months makes me want to cry.
What is everyones plan for a swim suit this summer??
I haven't worn a bikini in years...my boobs are way too big and my thighs aren't fit for a bikini. Personally, I think way too many women wear bikinis who shouldn't.
I actually tried on all of my pre-pregnancy bikinis last week and they all fit. So, I am bikini ready now and will wear a bikini this spring/ summer.
I might buy a few more suits though b/c my boobs have gotten a lot bigger and I want something that isn't so easy for Kate to tug at to avoid any bikini malfunctions.
I am in FL so I have already been swimsuit shopping (there was no way I was doing a bikini this year!) I found a really cute one piece at TJ Maxx and another at Old Navy both under $30.
I'll be wearing a tankini to do swimming lessons with DD. As for the beach, my goal is a bikini but I'm still not sure. I think I have long enough to get back in shape. My bikinis all fit still, my stomach is just no where near as nice as it was. No stretch marks, but it's still pretty saggy and funny looking.
hahahahahaha. i will NOT be sportin' anything that shows my belly or hips. the stretchies on the front of my belly seem to be getting lighter but i have major stretchies on my hips!
I wore a bikini after I had my daughter but I won't be anymore. My son left me with two nasty stretch marks by my belly button. I already purchased a tankini for this summer.

This. I'm a 38H right now and I normally wear bra fitted swimsuits (one piece), except I can't find any that fit a 38H right now.
I'm still trying really hard to lose weight so I'm hoping I'll be 15-20 lbs lighter by beachtime. If that's so, I may go down a cup size and I'll be able to get a nice one.

I was never a big fan of bikinis (I never felt comfortable in them). Now I have a ton of stretch marks and saggy skin and will never wear one again. Wish I had worn them when I could have! Oh, well. I'm fine with a one piece or tankini. I totally judge people who wear them and (IMO) shouldn't.
I'm thinking about avoiding all swimwear this year. I don't live near a beach (Lake Michigan does NOT count as a beach) and don't have a pool, so I might be able to pull it off.
My boobs are fine, it is my tummy that is gross (and my thighs). I guess this will be my first year in a one piece and I am not excited about it
this...ugh...
Me too (well, if by "fine" you count ginormous). I was lucky enough to avoid stretch marks, so if these sit ups and crunches ever start working, I will be happy to bare my middle again. As long as my thighs follow suit too. Definitely not there yet, and it's almost March. Again, ugh.

We were in pool today and I opted to wear my maternity Tankini. I am working hard to get back in shape but BF makes me sooo hungry! I am walking like 3-5 miles/day. Anyway, if I still have this ridiculous muffing top then I will buy a new tankini for the summer. I doubt I will be sporting a bikini. Maybe next year.

Really? I consider the Indiana Dunes a beach, but then again, it's not like we live near any oceans!
OK...Lake Michigan in the state of IL does not count as a beach. It's not so bad if you go to Indiana, and even nicer if you go all the way to MI.
My boobs and belly are fine... THIGHS OMG. I had some cellulite there before pregnancy and after I have even more. So self-conscious. I have been trying to work out regularly so if by some miracle those puppies tighten themselves up before summer is over, a bikini may happen. I doubt it though.

I'll be back in a bikini. I'm back under my pre-pg weight and thanks to the gym in my building I've been able to work out at lunch. I didn't get any stretch marks so I'm lucky there.

This cracks me up. I haven't worn a bikini since i was 16. I agree with wife, too many people wearing bikinis that shouldn't. Even if I were thin I don't see the point of showing that much skin. Too much area to slather on sunscreen.
I'll stick with my skirted tankini, TYVM.

Sweet lord, no. I wasn't bikini ready BEFORE I had DS, and now that my poor tummy is covered in huge stretch marks, I definitely will not be wearing one. Oh well.
I mostly swim at the ILs so no one will care if I don't look as great in a bikini as I did before. I actually don't look bad in one now when I stand up. When I bend, my loose stomach skin bunches up a bit but in 3 more months I hope and think I'll be ok. Otherwise I'll wear a tankini. One-pieces never work for me. I'm 5'10" and have to spend the entire time digging a one-piece out of my butt and out of my shoulders.
