Stripped Membranes!?!

Well, today I had my weekly dr appt and she said that my cervix is thin but still closed. She then did an aggressive exam and stripped my membranes. OUCH!!

I have had cramping ever since and bloody mucousy discharge (sorry if tmi).

Did this help/ work for any of you? I hope it helps to get things going!!

I had it done a week ago and I'm still pregnant.  I was already 2 cm and it was very painful (can't imagine if I was still closed) and led to a lot of contractions that night.  The rest of the week I lost my mucus plug, had a bloody show, etc. and got my hopes way up.  Now nothing! I hope it works for you!

I had mine stripped on Friday... and I was 4 cm dilated and 90% effaced... and I'm still pregnant.

I had mine stripped on a Monday morning, I was 1cm. My water broke the next morning, about 20 hours later.

I had mine stripped last wednesday. I was only 1cm dilated, and look at me now! Still pregnant!.... I hope it works out better for you.
