How do you feel about this...rant.

My mother is driving me crazy. She had the nerve to switch fomulas on Charlotte, and then lie about it. Basically, we give Charlotte Enfamil and she bought a store brand and put it into an Enfamil container to make it look like her formula. Argh. She also watches my niece, lies to her about the formula, and has instructed us not to say anything about it to her mom. On a side note, any time I mention something not recommended to do (IE giving my 5 month old juice or milk products) she gets all defensive and says she doesn't know why I listen to all that talk. Also, I'm doing cloth diapers, and she tells me it won't last long, that I won't be able to carry on with it because of how hard it is. She knows how to bring me down, thats for sure.

How do you know for sure that she switched the brands?

If she really did switch brands, I would make sure I always bought the formula myself. If it happened again, I wouldn't let her watch the baby again.

I'd be angry. Why is she buying formula though? Don't you and your neice's mom send formula with your LOs?

Well we do, but she agreed to buy it while we visited because she didn't mind. And for awhile, she did buy the Enfamil, but I actually noticed a different color and texture to it and called her out on it. She admitted it to me, grrr.

I would get LO out of there ASAP!! I understand that might not be an option, but this doesn't sound good at all!!! I would have a SERIOUS talk with her if you don't have the option of taking your LO to different daycare.

I hate when people think that their way is better and shove it down your throat. We deal with this when it comes to my MIL who thinks the fact that she raised one child in Poland 30 years ago that she knows everything about babies.

In fact we have had to disprove her multiple times. UGH.
