I am now six days late. I took 5 HPTs last week, all negative (two digital; three FRER). I know, I know. I probably ovulated late this cycle, BUT seriously, AF, where are you? This is frustrating. I have also been having some of the same symptoms I had when I was pregnant with my son, including a different kind of cramping and more d/c than ususal (sorry TMI).
Oh, and this is the recap from my original post from last week: Back story: We are TTC #2. I had my Mirena removed in the beginning of December. I had a 20-day cycle that month followed by a 27-day cycle in January. I have been charting and thinking I ovulated on Day 13 (February 1st). We TTC the night before (we both went out of town on the 1st).
Thoughts? Comments? Don't be too mean, now...
Re: Update to "Please be realistic (but nice in your delivery)"
Please, please be kidding.
OP, I can't give you much good advice. Sorry
Sounds to me like you're still in the waiting game, and that's very frustrating.
Am I missing something? What would I be kidding about? The doctor can do a blood test to determine if she's pregnant or not.
I don't think your cycle has shown enough consistency to know when you ovulated or when your actual missed period is. I would ask myself this before calling OB- when she asks when my LMP was, am I going to feel embarassed and justify when I think I last ovulated. If yes, then I'd wait. Plus, my OB always asked when my first positive HPT was.
Good luck! I am a little jealous of this fun, exciting anticipation phase. I think finding out I was pregnant were really the most exciting, wondrous and yet peaceful and grateful moments in my life. Enjoy!
I would assume that you're late because your cycle is still messed up from birth control. If you've been having cramping/discharge this week, you might be ovulating now.
