Lots of people I know had good luck on Craigslist, and you can narrow down the Boston Board to your area (i.e I'm in Andover and can narrow to Merrimack Valley). HTH!

www.enannysource.com  or www.sittercity.com ... I was a nanny during undergrad at BSC and got a part-time dependable job through enannysource.com. So you may have some luck going that way. Its safe, reliable, and was free to sign up!
