{NTTCALR} Sinus pressure and clogged ears

So i've had some nasty sinus pressure for a few days now. I've been taking a lot of musinex and it's been helping somewhat.

This morning, I woke up to my whole right ear clogged up. The musinex is NOT helping one bit.

Does anyone know a way to relieve this? It's not painful or anything, just very very annoying that I can hardly hear out of my one ear.

    If you aren't taking a decongestant with your Mucinex, I'd try some sudafed and warm compress to your ear.  If it doesn't get better soon, you may want to go ahead and go see your dr.  If it gets infected, it will be pretty painfu.... : (.  Good luck!  Feel better!

    I've always noticed if I take a hot shower, it seems to break everything up and clear my ears out too.  have you tried the neti pot or the sinus rinse for the pressure, I've used them and had alot of success. also, maybe try a decongestant for your ears.

    Have you tried a massage?  DH and I took a massage class the other night and learned a couple of techniques to help relieve sinus pressure where you massage places on the face (above the eye/near the brow and then on the cheek).  Maybe you can find a youtube video to see the spots to massage...

    I know when I have severe sinus pressure, this actually does help to relieve it.

    I was going to suggest the neti pot too. It's a little weird at first but works miracles! Hope you feel better soon!

    BFP #1: 12/2009 m/c 1/2010 BFP #2: 6/2010 m/c 8/2010

    BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)

    3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!

    Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500

    First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat

    LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!

    TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015

    Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015

    Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270

    First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.

    JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.

    TTC #3: Since October 2017. BFP #6 July 2, 2018 EDD: March 16, 2019 [/spoiler]

    Ugh so sorry!!! This happens to me allllll the time. For a quick fix you can get Debrox. You can find it at walmart by the pharmacy. If that doesn't work sometimes I have to go to the doctor and have it flushed out:( so horrible! I hope it goes away!!!

    I don't think it's earwax though. I really think it's just sinus mucus buildup.

    I always have good luck with Neti Pots and the ear drops that break up wax.  I hope you feel better!!

    and here i was going to say to get some amoxiciillin or zpac....you might have a sinus infection.  im just getting over one and the pressure in my ears was unbearable.

    I'm having the same problem... I'm taking advil cold & sinus... it's working pretty good. Hope you feel better.
