Preemies

grunts...

does your preemie grunt??  is this normal???

she grunts all the time, I can sleep through it, but hubby can't...any luck it will go away??

Re: grunts...

  • If its the same grunts that my kids did, then YES it will go away.  Mine are 5 months now and havent done it for a while.  Im actually not that much help though cause I dont know when it stopped.

For the longest time, we thought we had a dolphin & a goat living in our house ;)

  • Totally normal!  LO grunted probably for the first 2-3 months and it slowly went away!  She was in her crib w/in a week of her coming home because we couldn't sleep through it!

lol this exactly! Every time DD would grunt, I'd get up to check on her and then I'd wake her up! No one got any sleep until she was in her own room.

This is exactly what I was thinking.  We eventually even had to shut his bedroom door so we couldn't hear the grunting- just if he cried.
