I fish around in my purse for a pen in the checkout lane and pull out a tampon instead. I also had a tampon wedged in my wallet.

Ha! I did that once.  And the tampon had come out of the wrapper.  Freaking embarrassing.

My wallet attracts some interesting things too at times.

yep--me too! My purse is so disorganized.

I am always thinking tampons are pens. It got so bad I had to make a "pen pocket" in my purse where nothing goes in but pens. The worst is when they've kind of come out of the wrapper, lol.
