DS hs reflux and we have tried the zantac for about 3 weeks.  stopped giving it to him a week ago b/c it really didn't do much.  nurse said to try biogaia....anyone try this?

    I haven't tried it, but I have seen other Mom's on this board that have tried or discussed use of probiotics so maybe someone can help! I am sorry the Zantac didn't work for you guys, did you talk to your Dr about changing meds, I know others have had success with Prevacid. We are still using Zantac for DD and it has been effective.

    Zantac didn't work for us either, so Abigail is on prevacid. I was still not happy with her digestive issues so decided to try a probiotic on my own. She is doing so well.  Her feedings aren't a struggle any more and she sleeps better.  We use Culterelle because it is dairy free, but I have heard others talk about the biogaia.  I say give it a try...they can't hurt!
