Here is our rundown of kiddos
When the twins arrive
Max will be 3.5, he is good at walking and we can manage with him walking on his own but a handle or using something to attach a handle would be nice.
Stella will be 13 months, she is just about 10 months now and is standing but not walking. She is a TINY thing at just 16.5 pounds so even when she walks she won't be going long distances.
Twins will obviously be newborns
I am not a HUGE stroller person. We live in a suburb area so we drive most places but will need something for walks, the zoo, the mall, getting in and out of church, and trips.
I want either a DSNG or something that functions as such but also need to think about Stella.
Any suggestions? I have heard Valco Tri Mode but its SO EXPENSIVE! What do you triplet moms recommend since I pretty much need the capability to seat 3 at times.

I would check Craigslist EVERY day - multiple times a day - for a Valco trimode twin + toddler seat. It really is the best option - it's worth the money.... I got min used on CL for $500, still a lot- but saved a ton.
You could attach a hitch hiker board to it - and have all 4 "on" the stroller.... My almost 4y/o loves the hitch hiker board - makes trips to the mall a lot easier since he stays in place.
when he's not on it i have a big mama clip (big carabiner clip) on one side that he knows is his "special handle" and will grab it when i tell him. He knows it helps to keep him safe b/c it keeps him close to me, etc. He knows he must always hold it in a parking lot (I just say "parking lot!!" and he grabs it)... and any other time i ask him to - but at his age he is good about walking nearby and staying close, too. He hasn't been in the Valco in a long time - i think it was August.... and that was only b/c we were at an all-night event in town and knew he'd get tired. I don't know how much more i'll be using it, but i like having the option.
when the twins are older- the Choo Choo wagon by Step 2 is a great option, too. My older son loves being in that with the twins- all in their own car.
most triplet moms hate triple strollers --- so i'd really try to get a valco if you can. Though- the Peg Perego seems to be the favorite triple - but it's also $$$.
