AR moms-- How long do AR babies need to sleep on an incline?

Just wondering how long they have to sleep at an incline.

We are going to start transitioning her to her room after the whole cat incident. Also, she is trying very hard to sit up and I think she is going to be early. I want her in her room before that happens b/c they aren't supposed to be in the RNP once they can sit.

I am looking into the tucker sling, anyone have any experience with it?

  • E sleeps in her bouncy seat in her crib.  We've tried putting the top of the bed on an incline, she slides to the bottom and wakes up.  We've tried laying flat, she just isn't into it yet.  She likes that "hugged" feeling. So I'm no help, but that's what we're doing.

  • Sorry, no experience with the Tucker sling.  However, we have LO's crib mattress on an incline.  We put blankets and towels underneath the mattress on one end (works the same as a wedge)  then we have blankets in a U shape underneath the sheet to keep him from sliding down in the crib.  It works well for us.
  • We still have DD's crib mattress inclined with pillows, she slides down sometimes but it doesn't wake her up.  We don't plan on taking out the incline until she's off AR meds.
