LOL!!! Maybe it would be good for us to get some male perspective on this board a little more often.

Does your DH read your Bump postings? I don't think mine does, he couldn't care less. He likes to hear the particularly amusing stories though. 

If there are any Dads lurking, come post with us  :-)

eta: and to avoid any confusion, I am not making fun of him or any guys posting here, I thought his post was very nice!

I'll share particularly amusing stories with DH but I don't know if he reads on his own ... he does know my screen name and which boards I frequent so maybe he checks up on me, who knows! But he always asks me, "Whatcha Bumpin' about?" At least he cares. :-)

I'm always sharing bump stories/advice with DH. I told him that he should take a look every once in awhile because it's comforting to know we're not the only ones dealing with certian things.

So, one day he was reading over my shoulder and read "DH" knowing it was referring to him but not knowing what it meant and he says, "What's DH mean? D*ck head?" I had a good laugh and said, "Yeah, sometimes."

That said, my wife is a SAHM with 2 little ones and I KNOW that her days are a hell of a lot harder then mine...We are all going to blink and our babys will be in college, these times are precious...

For the crazy person (or drama queen..."guys perspective") who feels SAHM's aren't stong enough...I feel sorry for you... Life is about the journey, not the destination...it has to be difficult to work different shifts then your husband, and I applaud you for that. But don't think for a second that these women who have the ability to be home with there children have it easy.  

My wife (and best friend) is a great mom, and her days are full of times that she will never forget and always long for when they are gone. Believe it or not, these tough times will be missed...  

As a guy, I feel you all are amazing (truly not trying to kiss ass) and need to enjoy every second that you can spend/grow your little ones...live the day...be happy...

One time years ago, I left the laptop open while I got ready for bed, and DH posted on the Married Life board under my name. He made the post say something like, "I looooove DH so much, don't you guys  just looooove being married?". So then of course all the ML women start ripping it apart, and I came in and he's cracking up because he thought he was so freaking funny. So I had to go back on there and say "excuse my idiot husband" and they all thought it was hilarious.

Not so much the bump, but definitely on the nest.  I've been on these (knot/nest/bump) boards for almost 10 years and our local NJ board is hopping.  We're actually a pretty "close" group.  H has grown very fond of them over the years.  In his words "yeah, they're kinda a cult, but VERY useful!"

I have NO idea if he's ever come on and read.  God I hope not!!!! LOL

I share the advice with my DH.  Also, if I have a question that he can't answer, he will sometimes tell me to ask the bump.

I sometimes tell DH about a post and ask his opinion.  

There is a SAHD on 6-9 and his post are pretty similar to everyone else's.
