Went in for an oil change and came out with a new van...

Ha! I left this morning for an oil change on our minivan. There were a few things that I didn't care for on the old van and the biggee was that it didn't have power sliding doors. I figured before the twins came that it wasn't going to be a big issue and what's the big deal about opening the door myself.

The 7 weeks that the girls have been here, I have been really wishing I had power doors. 

So, I leave this morning at 9am for an oil change and came home around noon with an upgraded minivan. I now have power sliding doors and a factory installed DVD player (before we were using the headrest ones that I got from Target). I also have stow and go seats - WAHOO!!

I only put down $1000K more and it raised my payment by only $20 per month. Wahoo!! I considered it a tax present to us since we are getting back WAY more than we anticipated. Ha!  

I surely didn't wake up this morning thinking I was going to get a new van. Nothing like being spur of the moment.

i see no benefit to a minivan if it doesn't have the auto doors- they are THE BEST!!!

Just Curious - What kind did you end up getting? The more and more I drive places the more and more I want a van. I NEVER thought that would happen!
