Ideas for day out, PLEASE

I'm fresh out of ideas of where to take DS today.   Can you please throw some ideas/place my way that are in the NW suburbs or not too far away?   I'm hoping there's a hidden gem out there that I'm not aware of.    Thank you ladies!   Hope you're all having a good weekend.

    We go to Monkey Joes & The Tree House in Lake Zurich. The Children's Museum in The Glen. The play area at WoodField or the mall in Vernon Hills.

    Even if you been recently, you can try a new location/town: Library or bookstore story time... shopping... mall... out to eat (Red Robin is very kid friendly and has balloons and TVs and music that can hold the kids attn), IKEA

    The botanical garden on Lake Cook Rd is a great place for when it's nicer out!  You only have to pay for parking.
