I voted no, but really needed a "special snowflake" option.  We won't choose the final name until after our baby is born.  But, regardless, we won't be sharing names we have in consideration either.

Certainly - if ppl don't like the name I've choosen then they can shove it. It isn't their kid and they don't get an opinion.

JMO and FWIW, if you are having a baby then you need to learn to hold your ground. I'm saying this because most of the people I've heard of that choose to not tell do it because they don't want to hear any negative feedback. If you have another reason for not telling, then more power to you!

I will basically tell anyone that asks, but haven't made any sweeping statements (ie. Facebook)...and there are a few people that I really don't care to share with and I just tell them we are still thinking...
