    I've been so absorbed in the chaos ensuing in my own state I've totally missed what's going on at the Federal level. But I digress. I think this is ridiculous. Planned Parenthood is SO MUCH MORE than just performing abortions. It makes me sad that people can't see that.

    Well, I guess low-income women just don't deserve basic gynecological and prenatal care.

    Does planned parenthood actually perform abortions?  I don't think they do here.  There are very few abortion clinics.  I have heard there are doctor's offices that do, but only in medical need cases.

    Some do, but they do not use federal funds to do so.

    It is unconscionable and hateful.  But the GOP can't run the risk of the economy/jobs improving on Obama's watch b/c it would be bad for them in the next election.  So they're just going to whip their crazyass right wing into a happy little frenzy with legislation that will solidify their support from their hordes of hatemongers in the next elections, even if it means letting women die of cancer or STDs.   Abortions are already not allowed to be funded by tax payer money.  All this does is take other needed medical care away from people who could otherwise not afford it.  It's heinous.  

    We were talking about being so proud of our country yesterday?  Yeah. Um. Not so much.

    As someone who has to refer girls to PP every day, I think its horrible. They do SO much and they are extremely affordable here.
