Does your DH do his part at home or at the clinic?  We did it at home last time, but our ER was at 10am.  When I told DH that we need to leave the house at 5:15 tomorrow morning he was horrified. He is not a morning person and I am not sure he will be able to get things done before we go.  Do you think I should just call Rockville and ask for some time there when we arrive?

My DH is producing his sample in our bedroom right this minute ; )  How's that for a sentence you never thought you would type on a message board!

We live in Falls Church so it is a little close if there is traffic but I think he much prefers the comfort of our home and our pornos ; ) to get the deed done ; ) 

They will ask him when you get there if he has it or not and if he doesn't they will get it from him after you get set up.

DH does his business at Rockville, but that's b/c we live almost an hour away. He said it's weird b/c they put you in a room with a big, black leather recliner with some videos and a bunch of magazines, but he always gets the job done so I guess it's not that weird.

It wouldn't hurt to ask if he could do it there. Although one time they asked if we could collect DH's specimen at home b/c they had a lot of ERs scheduled for that day, but when we insisted DH do it there, they said it was fine.

LOL - That is just too funny.  DH does prefer home too, but 5am is just too early for him.    I usually walk the dog while he is producing as not to disturb his groove.

For anyone who reads this later, I wanted to f/u with how we plan to go forward in case you run into the same situation.  I contacted my nurse and she called Rockville and let them know of our concern.  They are encouraging us still to do the speciman at home, but if need be, we can do it when we get there.  Just let them know immediately upon arrival.  Good to know we have a backup plan.
