How do I set up my blog to be open to invited readers only?  I don't know where to find it in all of the settings that are available.

Login, and click on settings, then on permissions. Under permissions, you should have the option of selecting who can view the blog - anybody, only these readers, or only blog authors. I have "only these readers" checked, and then you'll have the option to "add readers." If you click on "add readers" it will ask you for e-mail addresses of anyone you want to send an invitation to. Does this make sense? Let me know if you're still having trouble!

OK, that's where I thought after searching around.  Can you go back and add people after you initially set it up?

Yep, you can add people whenever you want by clicking on "add readers" and putting in their e-mail address to send them an invitation. I think there might be a limit on how many readers you can have, but I haven't reached the limit (probably because no one wants to read my blog! ).
