HappyMrsK:I think it's pretty, but it's nms.
This.
Oscar born October 2011
Miscarriage at 8 weeks (August 2013)
DD due September 1, 2014
I like it.
I wouldn't use it, only because I can't see an attractive nickname to use.
Great name. Not overused.
I had a dear friend who passed away and that was her name. But now I have a niece named Melissa and my cousin (who is close) named her daughter Marissa. So it's off the table for us.
My name is Marisa. And I've always received a lot of compliments. The only thing is that I'm constantly correcting the pronunciation, (my whole life).
Marissa is the default. Marissa like Melissa.
However, my name is Marisa (ma - ree - sa) like Maria with an s.
I think Marissa and Marisa are unique and not commonly used. I prefer names like it.
