Shower Location?

I am hosting my sisters shower this summer. I want to do something other than the normal run of the mill house shower. Does anyone have any good ideas as far as a location? TIA

    since it will be the summer, you could probably do it at an outdoor location like a park or garden if they allow, usually for a fee.

    not sure what your budget is, but maybe a country club/golf course the grounds are always so beautiful.

    if your budget is smaller you could do a backyard party. buy some beautiful potted flowers to decorate the yard.

    All the showers I've been to have been at a hall or restaurant.

    I really like the idea of a picnic type shower... even by a lake if there's one in your area. It's cost effective and you can do some really great things with themes, food, and party games - plus it would be a nice comfortable setting.
