Schedule of progesterone shot less than every 7 days?

Hello.

Most of the women I've gotten to know with PTL risk have their prog. shots on a weekly (7-day) basis. My peri is considering modifying my schedule if the frequency of my contractions increase. I'm just wondering if any of you taking/ who took this, have had it administered to you every 6 or 5 days or even less? And if so, if it did in fact reduce the amount of irritability/ contractions that you were having.

I was told it can be taken anywhere from every 5-9 days. I take mine every 7 though.

I was told every 7-10 days so I take it every 7 days.

I HAVE to have my shots no futher than 7 days apart because on the 7th day I normally have contrations all day long and lots of them,  only 4 more shots to go   Then, the my MW said she will let me go into labor.
