BOB stroller storage question

I just realized that my husband had our BOB stroller stored in the garage by hanging it from the cord (the one used to fold it up).  I don't think it's ment for that purpose and I'm worried we somehow screwed up the stroller.  Anything special to look for to ensure everything is working as it should? 

It was stored like that for probably 2 weeks.

    I would think the force needed to retract the stroller to begin with would be MUCH more than the force used to hang the stroller with.  Does your stroller retract normally now?  If it does, I wouldn't worry!
