Different Meds?

Hi,

My endo is having me start Metformin, along with Synthroid, in hopes that I will begin to ovulate. I am also seeing an RE, who, on the next cycle has me scheduled for Clomid days 3-7, then Follitism (75) and then the Ovidrel, and then when ready, the IUI... my question is this... do any of you take metformin, and if you do, do you continue to take it while all of this other stuff is being administered?

 

Please help, bc the nurses at both offices don't seem to have any answers for me, which is so unreal... they tell me they will ask the dr my ?s and call me back... and both offices are terrible at returning calls.

I would just wait to hear back from your doctors.  In the meantime, I'd call a local pharmacist and make sure there are no bad drug interactions with them.

Metformin is a daily medication, no matter what else you are on. It works best if it is taken every day at the same time of day.
