You get excited about DH sleeping through his alarm and waking up yelling about being late for work because it allowed you a full 2 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Poor DH I know it made for a rough morning for him, but A has been eating every 2 hours so by the time she eats and gets back to bed I'm lucky if I get a full hour of sleep. This morning DH fed her a pumped bottle at 5, but then fell back asleep. These 2 hours this morning felt like heaven!

Agreed! My LO was sleeping so great. Now he is up so frequently I don't know if I am coming or going:( I miss the time when I was welcoming my first baby and I really did nap when he napped etc. Now I feel like I am going non-stop from 4 or 5 am until 9 or 10 at night. Then up every 2 to 3. Aaaahhhhh! Glad your H slept thru his alarm for you:)

I'm very happy for you original poster! I know you didn't mean for it to happen, but when you look at your husband asleep in bed as you are waking with your newborn for the third time to feed in 7 hours, you can't help feel resentful, at least I do. I had to respond to you JessiRaye b/c my baby is 3 weeks old and she is doing what your baby is doing too...sleeping well last week for 3 hours at a time, now the past few nights waking every 2 hours to feed and even during the day/evening napping infrequently, even though she looks exhausted. She'll sleep fine in my arms, then as soon as I lay her down she'll wake in 30 minutes. I hope this is a quick stage!

I can't help but hate my DH just a little when I'm up giving Adena a bottle of EBM, then have to put her to sleep and them pump and wash everything out after and there's DH... sawing logs. It makes me upset he thinks I'm getting more sleep than he is, the douchebag!!
