DS despises the sling. It hurts my back so I too despise it. He will go in the Ergo or wrap if he's tired and will fall asleep but never at home. Here lately he doesn't seem to want to be in either one at all! I hate putting him in the stroller all the time and hate carrying the bucket seat anywhere. I prefer to wear him but he doesn't seem to like it. I also would like to wear him at home so that when he's in his "don't you dare put me down or I'll scream" moods I can still get stuff done. Please help. I don't want to stop wearing but I also don't want DS to be unhappy.

Re: Ladies, I need BW advice
Ditto PP's. We never had a true wearing "strike" but there were times when she was just pissy everywhere.
Consistency is key. When we went out shopping, DD was worn. I didn't have a bucket seat (just a convertible carseat) and it seemed stupid to me to take my stroller in Wal-mart (I live in a VERY rural area). The two times I went to a mall before DD's was 6 months old, we took the stroller, but it was used as a carry-all for our stuff, and I wore DD. But, when we were at home shopping, DD was worn. Every time. In my MT
I was never successful at wearing DD around the house and getting things accomplished, until recently. She now lets me do things while she rides on my back in a MT, or our Ergo or Beco. But before around 9 months? Not a chance. She wanted held and the carriers weren't cutting it.
Like PP's said, just keep trying!
