hey guys i was just wondering how long it took for your kids to  receive their ss cards. its been over a month and we haven't gotten ours yet.

We got it exactly at 1 mo...but we're in California, so it may be different...I think it's probably different between every county?

they said it would take 1-2 months and i called at 1 month and it was already available. but maybe b/c i'm in ca? you could always call to check if it's available...

Thanks for all the responses. I checked online at the ssa website and they said about 7 weeks for HI. I think I'll call and check on monday to see whats the hold up.
