I feel so bad for him! I just don't understand how one baby can stay so sick! He has barely slept the past 2 days, I wrapped him this afternoon and finally got a 20 minute nap out of him, he woke up wheezing so bad you could hear it from the other room. Thankfully I was able to get him to the doctor before they closed. He is coughing up a lung and wheezing so bad. This is all on top of his ear infection from Tuesday.
He had RSV last month and ended up in the ER after choking (turning blue) and throwing up. My mom is coming to stay the night to be on the safe side. That way if we need to take him to the ER someone can ride in the back with him, and if he's up all night we can swap off.
DH feels really bad for being out of town with Coop being so sick, and I just think after our past experience with RSV he is really scared he's going to be 12 hours away if Coop has to go to the ER. I'm very thankful we have family close by to come pitch in.
Re: Guess who has RSV?
Ugh - poor guy!! Hopefully this means he's building up lots of immunity so that next winter can be bug free!
Hope you have an easy night and that C starts to feel better soon.

Wow! I hope everything goes okay tonight... or as well as it possibly could with him having RSV.
Keep us updated mama.

Thanks everyone! They sent us home with albuterol (sp?). His symptoms really seemed to come out of no where yesterday. He's had a cold all week with his ear infection, but the wheezing seriously just popped up. It is 10 times worse this morning.
I was stupid and told my mom we would be fine last night, definetly should have taken her up on her offer. He was up every 20-30 minutes crying all night. Thank goodness for wrapping! I would walk with him wrapped until he fell back asleep, then cat nap in the recliner with him wrapped, then repeat.
He is actually happy and playing this morning, but his wheezing is HORRIBLE! The doctor told me to only usally the albuterol if it got bad, but didn't really explain bad. He isn't struggling to breath, so I don't know.... guess I'll be calling the advice line this morning.
The positive side...I am super woman and haven't broke doing this all by myself. It definetly has made me feel 1000 tmes more confident in my abilities as a mother.
ugh! i'm so sorry. that wheezing is scary. i hope the advice line can give you some clear info on what you're watching for.
hugs to you both!
