Beta #2 (Not good news)

in TTC After a Loss 6 Months+
Didn't yield good results. It dropped from 52 to 28. I am totally devastated and my husband doesn't understand. The nurse said that it doesn't necessarily mean that it's over but to be "cautiously optimistic." They're going to check again on Monday. My husband thinks because I feel fine and am not bleeding, I'm still pregnant. I told him that the number can't go down and it still be a healthy pregnancy. He thinks I'm being overly pessimistic, I think I'm being realistic. But I am still taking my meds until it's confirmed and suppressing my urge to drink the entire bottle of sweet tea flavored vodka until Monday then all bets are off.

    IVF with ICSI= BFP! EDD 11/25/11
    3/18- Beta #1 452! 3/20- Beta #2 1,026!! 3/27- First u/s- TWINS!
    Our twin boys arrived at 36w5d due to IUGR and a growth discordance

    FET: Medicated FET moved up to 5/23 due to ovulation
    Transferred a 6BB hatched blastocyst- genetically normal female embryo
    BFP! 5/28- 5dp6dt      
    6/1 Beta #1- 223! 6/3 Beta #2- 567!

    It's really good mixed with lemonade... I'm sure my coping mechanisms aren't what are recommended but I'm okay with it.

    If sweet tea vodka is what it takes to cope, then bottoms up, my friend.

    I am heartbroken for you.

    Oh  no!!!  Amy, I am so sorry.  I just can't believe this is happening.  This is just devastating.  I think sweet tea vodka sounds like a pretty darn good coping mechanism.  (((((hugs)))))
