Beware of Sundance Photography in Barrington
Hello, all. I am a former knottie and a long-time nestie (if you have
more question, you can reach me on the Married Life board), and I wanted
to give you a heads up about Sundance Photography (Juli Armitage) in
Barrington, IL.
I hired Juli to do some family portraits as a gift for my inlaws while I was in IL over Thanksgiving. She came to their house and did the pictures, and while professional enough in person, she is a horrible, horrible person/business owner.
We have not received our pictures and she has lied to me multiple times about getting them to us. Promising to send them to us the next day/within 24 hours/etc. We still haven't received them, despite my threats to expose her on here, take her to small claims court, report her to the BBB, and eventually to report her to the IL Attorney General. (I have reported her to the BBB and the IL AG, and now am following through on reporting her on here.)
H and I started to research her more after all of this happened. We found out that she had done this in California and had been indited for many counts of fraud for taking people's money to do their wedding pictures, taking the pictures, and then never providing the copies or just not showing up to the wedding. I will provide a few links below.
Needless to say, I would NEVER hire her for anything (obviously my mistake in the first place for doing so). I have also found that she is trying to work with autistic children now. If you hear of anyone looking to hire a CNA for their child, warn them to not hire her. She is a thief and a reprehensible person all around.

You should link this post on the national bump boards (0-3, 3-6, 6-9, 9-12, 12-24 and 2+). There are lots of Chicago area girls on those boards that don't come over here.
I grew up in Barrington and still have lots of friends in the area. I'll make sure to post something on my FB about this!
