Where do you buy your shoes for LO?  DD has wide feet and I'd like to get her some sneakers of some kind to run around in.  She doesn't do well in shoes from places like Target, they just don't fit her.  I was thinking Stride Rite, but any other recs?

DS had really fat feet and I always had luck at stride rite and sometimes payless....they actually carry a few wide sizes.  DS was also always in a 1/2 size which no one carried except the above places or sears.  Happy shopping!

zappos - they have a great selection of shoes including those from stride rite, but you can also search/sort by styles that come in wide.  Free shipping including returns, and it all ships from the Louisville area so everything arrives quickly.   

There's a Stride Rite outlet at the Cincinnati outlets, and I hear that the price there are much better than in the regular retail store.

FYI if you have time and fancy it- there is a zappos outlet about 15 miles south of Louisville.  Exit 116 off I-65.  You exit and head east and there is a huge Zappos facility.  Head there and you will see they have an outlet.  You can get great shoes, great deals- the have an entire wall of $10 shoes!

I love that place.  I can't wait until I have to make a trip that way next month so I can stop and get more shoes.

I wished I lived closer so I could go!  Unfortunately I'm stuck in Dayton and can't see convincing DH to drive to Cinci for shoes, lol.
