I do hate BFN's

Although I POAS at my doctor's orders this morning, and received a BFN, I am okay.

It always hurts to see just one line though. However, I am excited about the fact that I O'd on my own, without meds for the first time in 2.5 years!

Now, if only AF would just show up. We may have to hold off on the IUI next cycle though since we're leaving in 10 days for Florida for a week and I won't be able to make any monitoring appts. But oddly, I feel okay about that too.

Re: I do hate BFN's

  • I'm sorry about the BFN-and hope that AF comes soon!

Florida sounds like a great time.  DH and I went down for the weekend after our last BFN, and it was so nice to get away from the stress of everything and really enjoy the time we spend together!

  • Ugh so sorry about the BFN! Yay for Florida though! I think I told you we're going down in April and I think we're going to make a road trip out of it and drive! (Flights are ~$600/person!!) I've done long road trips before, but not THAT long! We'll see.

OMG, we paid $200/person for our flights on Delta. I can't believe how much they've gone up!

My parents have driven twice (once when they moved into the condo and once when they were bringing a car down there). They said it goes quick! They do the bulk of the drive on the first day and stop somewhere in Georgia and then drive the rest of the way the next day.

  • I'm sory about your BFN but that's great news that you're ovulating! Enjoy your break cycle. I was really bummed this past winter when I had to break for 3 months but the time flew by and it was actually really nice not to have the added stress of cycling. (I'm so jealous you're going to FL!)

That's exactly what we were thinking of doing.  And no kidding--April is spring break month so everything is more expensive!!

  • I'm sorry about the BFN.  They always suck.  I hope you O on your own again next cycle (if you don't get to do an IUI)!  That would be exciting.  Have a great trip to Florida!
