I know that I am more sensitive to smell right now than I was, oh, say 7 weeks ago...
But damn. My child's intestines are NOT happy.
Keep in mind that NONE of her diapers have leaked...but the pajamas she had on last night, I think I am probably going to have to burn. Just from being next to her diaper...they absolutely reek.
I had to change my tshirt this morning, because her pajamas touched me, and I reeked. My husband noticed it and pointed it out to me. I guess I had just gotten used to it.
Tonight, when we went to put her sleep sack on, I opened the drawer to get it out, and the smell just about knocked us down. I may end up throwing it away, and all of the clothes that were in that drawer are going to have to be washed. I honestly don't think this is a smell that Tide is going to get out.
That poor kid. I took care of some horrible wounds in my career...and some really sickly patients with GI infections...and this is honestly one of the worst thing I've ever smelled.
Now my husband is sick, and has been in the bathroom pretty much nonstop. Good times.
