Going Ergo-less through a huge airport

... yesterday was terrifying, but I did it. I had to bribe DD with M+Ms to follow me to the next terminal when we had to catch our connecting flight, but she did it, gamely carrying her small backpack. She asked to be picked up a couple of times, but when I told her the only option was to go on my back with the Ergo, she said no and would then keep walking. So I think the BWing days are really coming to a close. Except that DD fell asleep just as our flight was touching down in Key West and I had to use the Ergo to get a sleeping child and all of our carry-ons off the plane and to baggage claim by myself. I suppose there will come a day when I will have to just wake her up in moments like these.

  • Great you made the connecting flight! I am not looking forward to this. The slow-to-walk but don't really want to be carried age. Think of it as educational, they got to learn to walk long stretches eventually :-) As for the waking of the kid, I am pretty amazed she slept through all that. DD has woken up every time we land and start to go out because of all the commotion. Have a good time in Key West.
