boiling hemp inserts

I have quite a few new hemp inserts...... how do I go about boiling them...... how long? how many times do I boil them?  explain please....TIA

You don't need to boil them. Just throw them in with your clothes (not with your other dipes) a few times and that will remove the oils that can damage your other diapers.

I boiled them for about an hour (that was what they suggested at my diaper shop). I've seen people post on here that you should boil them for 20 min. Really I just left them on the stove for an hour so they probably only did boil for 20-30 mins. Be very careful, I was stirring my inserts so they would be boiled evenly and I splashed boiling water on my belly. If you do wash them with your clothes you have to wash them like 5 times.

so if I washed them by themselves like 5 times is that still ok?  I didn't put them with my clothes but I bought a huge stash of hemp so I washed them by themselves.

Yep that works.

Once for 20 minutes, then you can throw them in with your CD laundry once. After that you should be good to go.
