Reading about 1 month olds only waking up 2 or 3 times a night or even sleeping through the night depresses me! I'm up 4 or 5 times between 11pm and 7 am on a normal night these days, sometimes it's more often.
DS was 10 weeks before he started sleeping though the night. Do you formula feed or breastfeed? What made the difference for us was having him eat extra before bed.
I breastfeed but tried bottles of EBM throughout the night last night and it didn't make a difference.
My landlady, who just had a baby a week and a bit ago told me "Oh, she wakes up so much! She's up every 4 hours at night!" It took all my strength not to tell her "_Bitch, shut up! My kid wakes up every farking hour!"
My DS is almost 11 weeks and has never STTN. We've had 2 nights (total) where he slept a 6-hr chunk. It doesn't matter if his bedtime meal was formula or BM.
Every night, I think "Is this the night??". One of these days....

Um yeah, don't feel bad. My DS is almost 4 months and has still NEVER STTN. He only gets up once or twice now, but that still is painful after 4 months of not getting much sleep. Not trying to depress you more, just wanted to reassure you that you aren't alone.

Re: Depressing
