Prayers needed. Not having a good day.

My dad found my 88-year-old grandmother unconcious on the bathroom floor early this morning. She fell sometime during the night/morning.
The ambulance came and picked her up and it turns out she has a broken leg and broken ankle and is going to have to have surgery today. They are also doing a cat-scan right now to make sure she didn't have any serious head injuries from the fall.
After a couple days in the hospital, she'll probably have to go to a nursing home for rehabilitation.
I'm just worried sick because every woman on her side of the family.... her mother and all three of her sisters... died in old age after complications of a serious fall. She's had dementia for years and I don't think she wants to live much longer.
I would appreciate any prayers for her!

My grandmother is now in rehabilitation after a bad fall that resulted in some broken bones a few weeks ago. I understand the worry, especially about how recovery will go... :-/
Thanks everyone. Her surgery ended up being cancelled because the specialist said that she was too frail for the surgery and her bones were too thin.
They put her in a cast instead. I hope things turn out ok.... she will be in the hospital another 2-3 days before being moved to rehabilitation.
