Is it me or is women's fashion having an identity crisis? High waists are all the rage and one piece swimsuits are actually trendy. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the fact that it appears there is going to be some modesty in clothing again but I'm curious what drives this. Just a couple years ago, I was way too familiar with seeing certain body crevices I'd rather not see peeking out of jeans. I hope those days are over.
Re: Fashion Question
Ha! I noticed this too. I certainly don't need to been seen in hip huggers these days but high waisted is just about as unflattering (on me). Talk about looking like "mom jeans". My sister (5ft 9in 117lbs) looks amazing in high waisted jeans...but then again, what wouldn't she look amazing in. If I looked like that I would just walk around in a bikini
I just have to keep my eye out for some plain mid-rise jeans. Boring.
If anyone could pull it off, my dear it would be you.
High-waisted pants are hard to pull off. My post-baby body is definitely not suited for that style.
But hooray for 1 piece swimsuits! No one needs to see my healing stretch marks this summer. I just got this suit and it is really cute on. For $15 you can't beat it. And I love that it has plenty of chest coverage and easy access for nursing.
Cute, cute! Don't you love Canvas? I got this one:

Ooh I love it! I can't believe the sale prices on the Canvas stuff right now. Crazy cheap.
