My family will be relocating to this area in the next few weeks. Anything family or kid friendly you can tell me about? I need things to do with my boys during the day, they are 5 and 2. My 5 year old will start kindergarten in the fall, but in the meantime I am excited to find things to keep us busy from now til then. Any info is much appreciated! Thanks!

Re: Cary, NC?
There is a local Bump get together group. You will have to meet someone in real life from the group before you can be added to their calendar though. I think a lot of the kids are in the 2-3 age range. Contact Akspriss.
There is also TriangleMommies.com https://www.trianglemommies.com/forum/index.php they have a calendar of events too. The items in blue are for the Southwest Raleigh area (includes Cary).
All of the libraries have story times each week. https://www.wakegov.com/libraries/default.htm
Hope this helps!
There are tons of parks in the area, one that is really nice in Cary is Kids Together. We also like to visit the park at the Airport. DS is really into planes lately.
When the weather gets warm there are several pools you can visit - Millbrook, Pullen, Optimist etc. One of them (I think Millbrook) has a little splash park.
Most of the malls have a little indoor playplace - Triangle Town Center's is really nice. They also have a little train ride you can go on.
You will also find several kid friendly museums. The Science Museum in downtown Raleigh is free, its pretty fun. Marbles, Durham Life & Science, and Kidzu are also in the area.
GL! There is tons to do in the area!
