I BF my son and was always told even if was having diarrhea I could give him BM.

Can you do the same thing on formula?  My DD has an awful cold and an off and on fever.  Now she has diarrhea.  She is on Neocate if that makes a difference.  It has no milk in it.

 Can I continue to give her formula or do I need to give her pedialyte for a while?

I'm not positive, but I think pedialyte is just to keep them hydrated if they are expelling too much, which would mean they still need the same amount of formula or BM for the nutrition.
