Baby Kaleah arrived today! (Pip)

Baby Kaleah arrived at 7:19 am today she is 20 inches long, 8lbs 11 oz. and perfect. I will post my full birth story later but the short version is that I woke up at 4:45am with contractions that were mildly uncomfortable and the first two were 12 and 11 min apart. After that they intensity grew and they next 4 were 5 to six minuets apart as they grew stronger I decided to take a bath and they stayed from 3 to 5 min apart. At about 5:30 I woke up my husband and told him that I thought it was time for us to go to the hospital; we got DD out of bed and left the house pretty quickly. Being I was so dilated on Sunday when they let me go home I had been told to get back quickly if I had any painful or regular contractions or my water broke. We arrived at the hospital around 5:40-5:45 and I was dilated to a really good 7; my contractions grew with intensity and started coming back to back. At approximately 7:05-7:10 my water broke and the doctor came in 2 min later to check me; I was already at 10 and he asked if I was ready to push. I waited one contraction and was ready to go; after 3 pushes she arrived at 7:19 am.

She is healthy and everything looks great. The doctor let me know that I definitely did not have a standard labor; he has never in his career let someone go home as dilated as I was before. The most he can remember was letting women go at 5cm. DH did an amazing job keeping me focused and we got the best valentine any one could ask for. DD is absolutely over the moon with her new sister.
