think i have thrush. :(

I can't see it, and i can't see into DD's mouth to see if there's any thrush in there, but my nips hurt REALLY bad when we nurse and the pain continues after we finish nursing. Fabulous- I just got over bloody nipples, and now I probably have thrush. :/

Does anyone know, do I cal my OB or my PCM or the ped? I know me and LO will have to be treated simultaneously if I have it, and soon, but I don't know who I should see first. I'm guessing the MW since I haven't had my 6wk check up and I'm probably still under her care. But then, would she give me the meds I need for LO too or would I have to see the ped separately? 

Ugh. I had thrush with my first but I don't remember anything about it, but that I saw the white on his tongue, we went to the ped and got treatment, and it was all good after that.

    :( I would start with my OB. My pediatrician's office has a LC though. I hope you feel better!

    Yep, start with the OB and then call your ped and have LO seen.

    Xander is being treated for thrush... started Nystatin drops today. He had a week of IV antibiotics and it is wreaking havoc on his little body. He had a yeast infection in his diaper area that was just awful to get to clear up and now that is just about gone and he has thrush.

    I had been EP and bottle feeding. We just had our first 24 hours of formula :(

    Well, I went to the dr. and I do have thrush. I have jock itch cream and the baby has nystatin drops.

    I think it's funny they Rx'd me jock itch cream to cure nipple pain...
