rash from clothing/detergent/or not washing

So DD wore a long sleeve onesie zip up sweat shirt and pants set that was vday themed today... We bought it a while ago I took it out of the closet this morning and said to DH this was washed right? He said yeah he washed it a while ago,,, it just seemed stiff to me well fast foreard to tonight I took DD pants off didn't see anything out of the norm but when DH brought her to me to give her a bath I found all over her back stomach and arms a rash sort of raised pimply looking like a heat rash or irritant... So she doesn't have fever I'm think it may have been from non washed outfit, and today it was 62 degrees and the daycare never removed the sweat shirt. Regardless anyone ever had a rash from clothing? What did udo for it? Any other opinions? Thanks and happy vday!

  • If its contact dermatitides, meaning she is having a allergic reaction to something her skin came into contact with, you could give her benadryl, but if its not bothering her I would just leave it alone. It should go away on its own as long as she doesn't come into contact again.
