DD has been sick a lot this year and I'm wondering if putting her on some vitamins would help build her immune system. I have no idea where to start in searching for the best vitamin for her. A friend of mine recommended the juice plus gummies but did say they were pricey. Does anyone have opinions on a good vitamin? Has anyone used this juice plus gummy? Any idea how much they cost? TIA
Re: Vitamins for my 3 y/o
I buy various kinds from Vitamin Shoppe.. you could try their website for prices.
I also give my DD Coromega for kids, it is a DHA/Omega-3 product.

I think a lot of illness in preschool is common, but vitamins certainly can't hurt! :)We had my son on Flinstones Early Years vitamins, but just switched to NutriStars chewable by Rainbow Light. He really likes them and I like the Nutristar ingredients better since they are food-based. My dentist advised me not to give him any gummies because they are so difficult to clean off of teeth. She calls them sugar bombs, even the vitamins.
My two and a half year old takes a regular gummy vitamin, a gummy fish oil, and Carlson's vitamin D drops (1000iu). He has been drastically healthier this winter, which is common, I know, but I also give credit to the vitamins. I think that D is really important, it helps boost the immune system.
A probiotic might be good too....
