2nd time moms ... diaper question

I am getting ready to get some diapers from amazon.com with their mom program and I was wondering from your experience if you prefer Luvs or Huggies better? Luvs has more reviews and has a half star more than the Huggies, but I wanted to ask you ladies.

Honestly, each kid and each stage changed the diaper brand. I would get a few and see which work best with your LO.

I am on a pack of Huggies right now.. the newborn size. I hate them! they are leaking like crazy. The pampers were much better.

I have a pack of Luvs to try next. I won't be buying anymore Huggies anytime soon!

Agree w/ PP. Pampers are way better than Huggies. Don't think we ever tried Luvs.

All I use are LUVS and I will definitely be using them with this LO too.

This! I swore by Pampers the first 6 months of DS's life...but then Huggies worked best. Then I discovered Up & Up (Target brand). Now that I do the Amazon Mom program, I flip flop between whichever is cheaper between Huggies and Pampers because at this point they both fit him well. I've never tried Luvs.

I feel like it matters more for boys than it does for girls. My friend who has 2 boys and 1 girl said with her boys she could only use huggies (we were the same way when he got mobile...pampers wouldn't contain his poop or pee) but with her girl she could use the cheap luvs and i was fine.

I liked pampers early on...but huggies when he got mobile. Swaddlers are great diapers for BF poop.

I have preferred different brands during different stages.

When DS was a newborn Pamper Swaddlers were the best.

I have had bad luck with Luvs leaking and prefer Huggies!

I had leakage issues and rash issues with ALL disposables. We switched to cloth around 3 months and never looked back. Wink

We used Pamper's swaddlers when DS1 fit in them. We tried Huggies once, and he blew out of every diaper. We now use Huggies and Costco's Kirkland brand. I plan on using pamper's swaddlers again for DS2.

Pampers hands down for us. Huggies leaked on him every time he peed. Now we used pampers during the day and Huggies overnight since I can't find Pampers overnight in his size. Luvs were a nightmare for us. They gave him a horrible diaper rash.

I also experimented a little when DD #1 was a newborn, but we ultimately settled on Pampers...they worked the best for us. I've never used anything else. We just ordered DS #1 first box of Pampers, so we are good to go for him. We use Amazon Mom too and have our diapers delivered.
