I don't know anything about these places, but I am in Menomonee Falls and will eventually need daycare (as soon as I get a job!) Let me know if you hear anything!

We decided on Children of America. They are a lot smaller. AAL is really nice, but huge. DS is pretty shy. They also offer remote monitoring that will consume my time when i should be working:) We sat in the class a few weeks ago for a few hours and I really liked what the teacher was doing with them. DS really liked it a lot. We start next week and I will try and update you on how it went.
Thanks! I hope everything goes smoothly for you! I have been job searching for awhile with no luck, but as soon as I find something, both my kids will need daycare 2 or 4 days a week. I have never left DD with a stranger before, so the whole thing just makes me a bit nervous!

The kids only go 2 days a week so I am not sure if this is an accurate review yet. DS1 loves his new school which I think says a lot. His teacher says that he is a bit too shy with with her and she is worried that he doesn't speak up she will miss something, but he is very outgoing with his new friends. He used to have art every day and I think they only do it a few times a week so he misses that. They are really good about taking them outside two times a day and I like that. DS is exhausted when we get home.
DS2 seams happy. He had a really strong bond with the teacher at his old school and I think he is still in the "what are we doing here mom" stage. He is having a hard time adjusting to taking a nap in a open room. His previous DC had a separate sleeping room, but I think once he gets used to it it will be good for him.
We did have one issue last week where there was a fill in at the end of the day. At centers they usually combine classes at the end of the day as the class sizes get smaller. I was sitting in a watching DS play in this combined room. One teacher left and I don't think noticed that he was only on in there. The older kids started acting out and he was very overwhelmed. Kids noticed and I think played on it making it worse. I confronted the director and she assured me it would not happen again. We will see.
Thanks for the update. I just toured yesterday, and I had a hard time getting DS to leave! I have looked at one other place in the Falls, and that one wasn't as nice, but it was quite a bit cheaper. I'm leaning towards COA, but the director did mention to me that enrollment is very low right now. That makes me wonder why they have so many openings. I'm hoping it's just because of the tuition cost, and no other reason. We are going back Fri (DH wasn't able to go with me yesterday and I want him to see it, too) to take another look before we make our final decision.
